What We Did

Kittery, ME is home to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, a United States Navy Shipyard focusing on the safe overhaul, repair, and modernization of the U.S. Navy’s attack submarine fleet. NorthStar worked as direct subcontractors to Cianbro Corporation. 

For this project, our team spent around six months painting Dry Dock #1. After a previous contractor had failed to meet standards, we redressed these areas to accommodate professional expectations. We painted a variety of surfaces, such as handrails, staircases, metal roofs, structural steel, and more. Throughout the process, we worked professionally, safely, and efficiently to meet all standards.
