The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is a United States Navy Shipyard located in Kittery, ME. They work on safely maintaining, repairing, and modernizing the U.S. Navy’s attack submarine fleet. For this project, our team members were direct subcontractors to RTH Mechanical Contractors, working on Dry Dock #1.

Our team worked on the HVAC mechanical skids, providing extensive repairs and maintenance on the existing industrial coatings. We efficiently removed deteriorating layers of paint with needle guns and then retouched the areas to meet quality standards. Our team’s contribution helped the project pass the U.S. Navy’s final inspection and aided in the skid’s commissioning for use by the U.S. Navy.
